RISKS DANGERS

What risks and dangers are involved in brow-lifting, eyebrow lifting?
If your brow-lift is been carried out by a qualified plastic surgeon, complications are extremely rare and usually insignificant. Nevertheless the outcome is never completely predictable, as people differ in their anatomy and the healing process may vary from patient to patient.
A slight asymmetry in the position of the eyebrows may result from an eyebrow lift. Please bear in mind that very few people have precisely symmetrically positioned eyebrows. However, if such asymmetry disturbs you, your surgeon will offer to correct this.
A loss of hair may occur at the site of the small incision. This can be corrected by cutting away the scar. A haematoma (a collection of blood under the skin, which has to be removed by the surgeon) or an infection are extremely rare complications. You can significantly reduce the risk of complications by carefully following the advice of your plastic surgeon both before and after an eyebrow lift.
